Liberty Mutual

Posted on March 10, 2009October 23, 2015 By Doriano No Comments on Liberty Mutual

Here I was watching American Idol on Tivo and about to scan through the commercials as I normally do but I was surfing the web so a Liberty Mutual commercial started playing. I really liked the music they used for the spot so I decided not to skip it. I then got hooked into the story being told in the commercial as one person after another does a good deed which inspires someone else to do a good deed and so on. It was such a wonderful little movie that I found myself totally enchanted by it. So much so that I rewound it a few times to enjoy it again and again. And here I am writing about it. Totally amazing.

This has me wondering how many other great gems I’ve missed by skipping commercials. I know most of them are dull, annoying bits of mindless drivel but every once in a while something like this Liberty Mutual film comes along that makes it all worth it. The people behind this spot, Holliday Hill agency, and Liberty Mutual themselves should be very proud of themselves.

The song is “Half Acre,” by Hem. It’s on their 2002 album “Rabbit Songs.” More information about the band can be found at their MySpace page here: http://www.myspace.com/hem

Here’s the second spot in the series of Good deeds
