Everyone that knows me knows that I’m a big American Idol fan but I also love the show “So You Think You Can Dance”. In many ways, SYTYCD is a better show than AI. One of my favorite routines came last season when Twitch & Kherington performed a memorable contemporary dance number to John Mayer’s wonderful “Dreaming with a Broken Heart”. It told the story, through music and dance, of the pain and anguish of a breakup from the male’s perspective. The imagery of the roses and the way they dance on and around the mattress was amazing.
