Even though the movie is 20 years old now (wow!), many of the technologies from the film are only now becoming reality. One of them is the full body scanners that airports are starting to use today thanks to terrorists that continue to slip passed security checkpoints.
There’s a young Sharon Stone using what appears to be a Wii tennis game to sharpen her game.
There are many more cool technologies on display in Total Recall that weren’t in existence such as the giant screen TV screen in the kitchen that also displayed the scenery of choice in virtual windows.

I think Total Recall ranks right up there as one of the best sci-fi movies. It has something for everyone, action for men and a love story for the ladies and plenty of everything else for all others. The concepts of embedding memories such as vacations and controlling one’s identity are still so fascinating.
