Happy Mother’s Day

Posted on May 14, 2001September 25, 2015 By Doriano No Comments on Happy Mother’s Day

I hope everyone made their mother feel special yesterday. I like the whole idea of Mother’s Day, but to be quite honest with you, I think every day should be Mother’s Day. We should make sure that we tell our mom how much we love them and do all we can to show it. You’ve heard it all before, how short life is and all the horror stories about people who never got the chance to tell that special someone how they really felt about them before it was too late. Your mother should be at the top of your list of people to thank and tell how much you love them. Yes, I am a mamma’s boy and my mom lives most of the year in Italy these days, so I miss her terribly. But I always tell her that I love her and thank her for raising four sons, mostly on her own in a strange new land. She never tires of hearing it.
So, it’s wonderful to celebrate our mom’s on the national holiday, but it would touch them even more if we did so the rest of the year. There are 364 other days to show your love and appreciation. The same goes for everyone else you love in life.
