new_firstDespite all personal flaws, Frank Lloyd Wright was an amazing architect and fascinating person. I love his unique, original works that took architecture to the next level. He was an artist with a most original pallet.

By far, my favorite design was his signature creation, “Falling Water”. Here’s a brief tour of this incredible masterpiece

I planned an entire trip to western PA last month around visiting Fallingwater. I watched a nearly 3-hour documentary on Netflix about FLW (on instant watch – still there if you'd like to check it out) which covered his entire life, his work and all of the personal drama.During the trip, we also visited Kentuck Knob, also known as the Hagan House, which is just a few miles from Fallingwater. Both homes were spectacular but very different, indicative of FLW's evolving style over the years (and budget, Kentuck Knob is much smaller).I have a few pictures of both homes in my Flickr set here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/jamiesworld/sets/7…You should definitely visit the area if you have a chance, we stayed in a B&B; which was lovely and also were able to visit other local attractions, many historical sites, etc. Very quiet and beautiful there in western PA.
