Desperately Seeking Susan

Posted on July 11, 2009October 26, 2015 By Doriano No Comments on Desperately Seeking Susan

desperately_seeking_susan It might not be a great movie but I LOVE “Desperately Seeking Susan” (1985)! I think it’s because it’s part of my youth and I really liked this new music artist named Madonna who was so fascinating back then. It wasn’t just her looks and unique sense of fashion and her catchy hook-laden music and seductive dancing. There was something very special about this girl.

I also liked Rosanna Arquette so that didn’t hurt matters much either. The music was great which only added to the enjoyment. Another big factor for me liking the movie so much was that it was set in Fort Lee, New Jersey and I grew up in Newark, NJ.

We all have guilty pleasures that we love even though others might not think much of it. I have tons of those types of things and I don’t even try to hide them as you can see from this blog and my twitter stream. It’s all part of me and my life experience. The good, the bad and the ugly. 🙂

Here’s the trailer and some clips which should bring back some memories if you were alive back then.
There’s also a lot of rare behind the scenes stuff such as interviews of a young Madonna, the music video for Get Into the Groove and 25th reunion of some of the starts
