Weekends

Posted on June 11, 2001September 25, 2015 By Doriano No Comments on Weekends

Here it is again, Monday. Hope you enjoyed your weekend as much as I did. Why do we all love the weekend so much anyway? Most likely because it usually means two days without work, which also means we can stay out real late too. I remember reading that Henry Ford was kind of responsible for making the weekend so popular. His thinking was brilliant. He thought if people didn’t have to work seven days a week (like they used to do around 1900), then they will have more time to drive their new car and travel places with it. Sure enough, the theory worked. Auto sales went thru the roof as people started enjoying their week’s end… thus, the weekend was born. Thank God.
Anyway, one of my goals is to always try to make every day feel like Friday. I know it’s tough, but it’s worth the effort. Don’t ya think?
