Here is another guilty pleasure admission: I enjoy watching The Simple Life! It’s that new reality (so-called) TV show featuring two rich chicks (Paris Hilton & Nicole Richie) trying to survive in the country. It’s bad TV at its best and just like a car wreck you can’t look away when it’s on!
I think these two girls (I refuse to call them ladies or even women out of respect for the terms) and other rich spoiled brats like them are nightmares. I feel sorry for the poor schmucks who have to deal with them on a daily or personal basis. Not only are they dumb as wood, they have no regard for what’s important in life nor any respect for other people’s feelings. Their parents and all the yes people (ass kissers) surrounding them should take a lot of the blame in retarding their emotional growth as adults. They are like 3 year olds with an infinite allowance! It’s sickening, really.
Still, it’s fun to watch the two worlds collide as they do on this show. Sure, most of it is put on and made up and forced, but it’s good entertainment.
