I was wondering while watching the closing ceremonies of the Olympics, why isn’t there an Olympic event for cerebral and mental excellence? Why all the focus upon merely athletic achievement? Instead of the Summer Games, why not have something called The Mind Games? Or the Head Games? We could shine the spotlight on the world’s most brilliant minds….and give gold medals to the best achievements in thought! It would be a small Golden Brain. What do you think? There could be competitions too like a chess tournament and things like that.
