Despite everything that is going on in the world now, I am still making every effort to appreciate the little things in life. I love all four seasons, especially the fall. The crisp autumn air feels wonderful in my lungs and the smells of burning leaves are comforting. I revel in the sunshine at the Georgia Tech football games on a bright Saturday afternoon and bask in the glory of a Braves playoff game at night.
The other wonderful thing about the fall is the feeling that Halloween is close at hand. All those cute little ghosts and goblins, tons of candy and scary movies. Then the knowing that Thanksgiving and Christmas are right around the corner! Such a beautiful time of the year.
Now if we could only get rid of all those ghosts and goblins in the middle East!!!
