Does anyone not like Halloween? I mean, no matter how bad a childhood you might have had, Halloween had to be a great time of year for any kid. All that candy and for free! The fun of becoming anyone or anything you wanted. The excitement of not knowing what you would get from someone when you rang their doorbell. It’s a wonderful time that you think will never end, but it does as you become a teenager.
The best you can do later in life is share this joy with your own children. You can reflect on your own days of trick and treating while watching your little monsters wreak havoc on your neighbors. Ah, the circle of life.
