Jack Lemmon, 76, one of the greatest actors in motion picture history has died.
I really loved his work. One of my favorite movies ever was THE APARTMENT, the Oscar winner for Best Picture in 1960. He was fabulous in it, as was Shirley McClain. I also loved many of his other movies, such as Mr. Roberts, The Days of Wine and Roses, Some Like it Hot and his most recent EMMY winning role in TUESDAYS WITH MORREY. He was a gem and will be missed. He lost his buddy and often co-star Walter Mathau not that long ago. Heaven sure has a special odd couple up there now. 🙂
