My Favorite Painting

Posted on June 15, 2001September 26, 2015 By Doriano No Comments on My Favorite Painting

My favorite painting ever is called A Sunday on La Grande Jatte (1884) by Seurat. He was one of the lesser known impressionists. Don’t get me wrong, I love Monet and Renoir like the next guy, but Seurat was the most innovative and exciting of the French bunch. He?s the one that developed pointillism, where he used only a series of dots to paint a picture. Here?s the best example of his work. It?s like a whole movie in one painting.
