The Last of the Mohicans is a thrilling motion picture with plenty of action and romantic scenes to please men and women equally. There are some memorable moments that I still think about from time to time such as this waterfall scene. The speech Daniel Day-Lewis gives Madeleine Stowe is powerfully moving.
“You stay alive! If they don’t kill you, they’ll take you north up to Huron lands. No, you submit, do you hear? You be strong, you survive… You stay alive, no matter what occurs! I will find you. No matter how long it takes, no matter how far, I will find you!”
