That wonderful line is from one of my favorite movies of all-time, THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION. I caught the end of it late last night while I was still sickened over the news of that horrific woman who killed her kids. It was exactly what I needed!
I am not ashamed to admit that I am always easily moved to tears when I see certain movies and this one is definetly one of them! That line especially gets me. It was something the main character wrote in a letter to his friend who is released from prison after 40 years and who is on the verge of either killing himself or committing a crime just so he can go back to the only place he knows…jail! Hope is a good thing! Yes!
So are dreams and wishes…. the stuff that life is made of…otherwise known as love.
