Here’s a common dilemma. Is it smart to jeopardize a great friendship for possibly one night of passion? Would you take the chance of destroying a special friendship by becoming lovers? It’s not as much of a slam dunk as most people think it is. Usually, if it’s that easy a decision, it is because that person has never truly been in that situation. There is a thin line between a very dear friend and a lover. In either case, that person has to have touched you in some special way. In many cases, the friend can know more about you and make you feel deeper than even a lover! So, it can get messy when emotions run wild and you are faced with a life-changing decision: do we risk it all and have sex or keep our special bond in tact and never know what could have been? Ah, such a question. The odds are not good for it working out between friends who become lovers. It has worked out in some rare cases, but most likely, the friendship will never be the same and eventually the two will drift apart and left with nothing but memories.
