I ‘m loving Google Tasks more every day. It’s so handy being able to access your to do lists in so many different ways. You can get to it from your Gmail account, through its own popup window, via your mobile device (looks like an app on the iPhone), on your iGoogle homepage as a gadget or you can try my favorite way to use it, via the sidebar in Firefox.
Here’s how easy it is. Save this link to your bookmark toolbar: The right-click that link and select properties and enable “Load this bookmark in the sidebar” see image below:
Now when you click the bookmark in your toolbar it will launch Google tasks in the sidebar, allowing you to surf and see your to do lists wherever you go. You can add items as you go too.
You can switch from one task list to another by clicking the button on the bottom right next to the trashcan. So you can have tasks for work, personal things to do, your blog, and many other things. Best of all you can cycle through them all while surfing.
So, you can add items from your mobile device and it will appear on your Google Tasks instantly whenever you access it and vice versa. It syncs itself automatically which is great. I guess we will have to wait for an offline version so we can use it anytime we want.
